The Dublin procedure is a European Union regulation that establishes criteria and mechanisms for determining the Member State responsible for examining an asylum application. The aim of this procedure is to prevent multiple asylum applications in several EU Member States. Thus, the first country responsible for an asylum application remains responsible throughout the asylum seeker’s journey.
